SHELVING

You've decided to either purchase some additional shelving units or buy some pieces-parts to complement your existing layout. Now you need to identify what you'd like to buy, and may be uncertain about the details. No problem. We can assist you in filling your needs with the help of the illustrations below. Some shelving components will interchange between manufacturers, but most will not. When you need to purchase parts, especially hardware such as clips, the more we know about your existing system, the more we can help.

Here are some common post (sometimes referred to as uprights) styles. We can cross-reference the illustration to the approporate manufacturer. Since we are a distributor for Republic Storage Systems, we maintain an inventory of their most commonly asked-for components. Sometimes, other manufacturers parts can be made to interchange either through modifications to the bracing or by using a generic "universal" clip.

Here's one more way. Shown below are five common types of units. The one on the left is an "open" unit, to it's right is a "closed" unit, then a "closed with accessories" unit, next an "automotive" unit, and finally a clip shelving cabinet with doors. Variations are available for all five versions, so don't hesitate to ask if what you think you'd like to do is not pictured.
